Thank you for sharing this heartwarming video, Jennifer. You look fine indeed. I cried at the point when you mentioned these will be the moments we look back on because it is so easy to feel sorry for myself when I am feeling tired from caring for my baby all day. As a homemaking mom, it feels lonesome and isolating at times but this video's encouraging message strengthened me from within. I have rewatched it 3-4x already because it felt like a good, wise friend who is also in the thick of it, gently hugging me and saying, we can do this and we can do this with poise. 💚💚💚

Jennifer, watching this video I feel like I just got to FaceTime with a dear friend. I have integrated so many of your principles in my life and I am all the better for it. I just had my third baby, my first Mademoiselle Chic. 😉 I look forward to bringing her up to live a life of high standards. We homeschool as well and although I live in New Zealand, our lives have taken very similar paths at similar times. We are debt free, traveling with our kids and keeping life simple and oh so chic. 🙂 God's blessings to you sweet friend. I don't know that you will ever see this but I pray a prayer of thanks for you and your family.

The day you recorded or the evening captures one of those beautiful and holy times of motherhood. You and your son will always cherish this sweet memory. You brought back so many wonderful memories to me. Oh how I loved my babies! Still do but my babies have children of their own and in some cases grandchildren.😊

  6. Fran Apple says

What a cute baby! You still look pretty but I like this video,

    Beautiful video! So encouraging.

  8. Vicki Zimmerman says

Jennifer, I just have to say that this is one of my favorite videos, because it shows what a wonderful and loving mother you are and I'm sure many of us wish we'd had someone like you who tenderly cares for and guides her little ones. I think you look beautiful at the end of the day. Work is good for you, apparently, and it shows. Hope your little boy got tired eventually and you savored that bath and audiobook. Here's a quote that speaks to what you shared on your video about the importance of the little things: "Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." Robert Brault

  9. Brooke Rohner says

This video is so inspiring! I am 38 and just had my first baby (4.5 months now). He won’t let me put him down either. Sometimes it feels like I get nothing done and have no time for self care. Any tips you have for balancing mom duties with other responsibilities and pursuits would be appreciated. Maybe it’s more about mindset than anything else? Love you attitude of appreciating these times even though they aren’t the easiest.

  16. Lara G says

Your little baby looks so snuggly and cuddly in this video ! Thank you for reminding everyone that life is real and that most/all images posted on Instagram, Facebook, etc are not ! I try not to judge but I often find myself shaking my head when seeing those in public taking selfies, photographing their food, staring at their phones, etc rather than being in the moment and paying attention to those around them. I hope you and baby got some sleep afterwards xx

Cleaning while holding the baby, going up and down, switching one hand and another… just so that you can have the home clean and ready to go for the next day – this has been my life for nine months during my parental leave. That season of my life is over, but it felt great seeing you do just that! I remembered and it brought joy to my heart! Thank you Jennifer!

  26. HootOwl Holler says

Aww…the little stink-pot! He thinks going along for the ride when mommy's cleaning is better than a ride at the amusement park! LOL. He's beautiful.💙

Jennifer, your baby is so adorable. Mine are grown and I do look back and remember that time when they were little as so wonderful. Keep cuddling with those beautiful little people!!

  34. wisdomandcommoncents says

Hi, Jennifer. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed this video, particularly your sense of calm at the end of a tiring day. I have been reading (and rereading) Proverbs 31. Nowhere is there any reference to the appearance of "a wife of noble character", except to say that "beauty is fleeting". In a world that praises appearance and "self" above all else, you are a true beauty bc you care for your family, your home, and your business. Selflessness IS beautiful.❤❤❤

  35. Sandra Gotlaufa says

I cried when I saw this – so refreshingly honest! Out of all your videos, this one is the most inspiring to me. It is easy to be chic & organized when everything is perfect, but it is in moments like this when your true character shows.

  36. Elizabeth Marie Quellet says

Loving your videos more and more!

  37. Elijah Mupamhanga says

Hi Jennifer, I brought your book two years ago and have since been watching your videos. Thanks for showing us this video, keeps me inspired to keep on check with my appearance. And gave me a little laugh. My daughter is now 9months, so I can relate. And I have a 9yr old and 6yr old. 🙂
Your baby is adorable! Have you tried a Moby wrap?? They are brilliant for babies from new born and keep the baby snug while keeping your hands free for house work etc! You still look lovely at the end of the day, I can see there is so much love in your home. Your kitchen looks gorgeous.

  38. YF C says
